There are so many political parties in Czech Republic created with USA money to control the election in Czech Republic. Any country who has so many useless parties like Czech Republic it becomes banana Republic.

The CIA pull fast one again. They finally were able to make one of there stooges president of Czech Republic. Since USA occupation the lives of Czech people are worse every day. USA Zionist banking mafia stole everything what the Czech people owned. The Nazi occupation 1939-45 and USA Zionist fascist occupation 1990 until now are the two occupations that destroyed Czech people's lives for ever.

Russia is the most powerful country in the region. Has always been. the only successful way to have a decent life for Europeans is to make a good treaty with Russia. A NATO general isn't going to make a good treaty with Russia but will make Czech republic an American dog. Bad choice, Czechs 🎉😅

The tragedy of Czech people is their government, because they never realized that Russia isn't Soviet Union. As much as the new government try to please USA and EU masters, the ordinary Czech citizens pay the the price.

I am also Czech in my eightees. Many comments here were made by young citizens, who know nothing about previous communist regime. They don’t care about the facts, that most todays pollies have very positive view to the old totality, including this “general”. He was communist by choice, Babis probably was forced, just to keep his job. The most hopeless government in ČR today is
becoming as totalitarien as previous communists.

Nope. Because the second candidate is a liar, cheat and promises everything to everybody just to get their votes. Sometimes even totaly utopistic or idiotic things. But people believe him because they want to believe him and are scared to use google to find a real answear to his nonsences. His support, lies and now even losing presidental run to an army general remarkably reminds germany after first WW.

Congratulations to Czechia for electing a sensible candidate! I really hope Poland will be able to also have a victory like that – 2023 sejm and senate election (to choose the ruling party), and 2024 has presidential elections.
hopefully PiS doesn't win again, the scandals that happened since they came to power has been awful, and the democracy index in poland dropped significantly during their rule

Here in hungary people are like: "How the hell is everyone so dumb around us, not seeing what we see? Like they want to go to war with Russia over Ukraine or what?"
Every time an election is being held, they're like now we'll finally see orban's opponents crushed, and common sense prevailing….
It does not occur to them for a single thought, that if everyone goes in the opposite direction on the road, it's worth considering seriously that you're the one going in the wrong way. 😀
After elections such as this one, they always seem a bit confused, but never broken in their belief. Kinda funny, but sad at the same time.
The only time I remember they ever felt victorious was when Meloni won in Italy, but even she's pro-Ukraine, as far as I know.

Czechia is pronounced Cze[ck]ia not Cze[ch]ia. If in doubt, just say Czech Republic.
Also, you consistently pronounce Bosna & Hercegovina as Bosna & Hercegovi[nia]. One less syllable there 👍
Otherwise thanks for creating content about CZ that’s unbiased and place it in Central Europe. Historically, that’s the only region that makes sense.

why? because there was only two possibilites left (other candidates have been "loosers" not able to touch enough number of people with their vision) and Babišś practise and lies have been finally un acetable for so many people, Mr. Petr Pavel was not connected with any case of corruption, he has had represented Czech country with dignity in NATO in the past….so he would win in any case.
