We will create the infrastructure, manufacturing, food, oil and Gas and all things we need to survive without having to depend on them. Its no longer acceptable that we support thier economies that turn around against us by building up thier Militaries to thteaten or bully other countries. The Russian people are paying a sheep tax. They let themselves be ruled by a megalomanical dictator, the kleptocratic oligarchs who backed him abd their 'thief in law' henchmen like sheep, so they pay a sheep tax, just like America pays an idiot tax every time enough voters are idiot enough to put Republicans in charge of the government.

Until good old Ivan grows a backbone, pulls a serious military revolt, crushes Putin and his oligarchs then sets up a system that at least resembles European style so called ''socialism'' they'll keep paying their sheep tax, and so will a lot if other people, just like democrats in America pay the idiot tax that Republicans run up.

To the people saying that defaulting would be unfair since Russia can’t reach its money due to sanctions, no…it isn’t unfair.

When you take on debt you are expected to make logical financial decisions and not put yourself in a situation in which you can’t reach your money. If what happened to Russia was completely unpredictable, like a natural disaster or something like that, maybe you’d have a point.

However, sadly the sanctions were completely predictable, especially after Russia’s own actions put them in the situation they’re in. Nobody forced Russia to attack Ukraine, and nobody forced Russia to antagonize western governments until eventually there was a reprisal.

A minor correction: The financial sanctions against the Russian oligarchs and the Russian Central Bank doesn't seize or nationalize any assets.

The ownership remains unchanged. It's only frozen and inaccessible. Private property in the West can't be taken without a criminal trial or civil forfeiture process. The strong property rights are one of the reasons they keep money in US, UK, and EU.

They keep them in Swiss banks to remain for obvious reasons.

Earlier this week, a trade war broke about between the US and Canada. But the EU, a more Canada-aligned ally, appears to have a pretty muted response so far. So, in this video, we’re taking a look at the escalating US-Canada trade war, how it’s pushing Canada towards the EU and how the EU is responding.
