The Thai government has also brought up the topic of a central Firewall on several occasions but, as yet, not implemented it.

Here’s an idea. Use blockchain for decentralised social media. No company, no court case possible.
This kind of authoritarian censorship crap has had it’s day.
    Won’t be possible soon.

Haha, no chance. China’s doesn’t even work. Old people are stuck but young people just use VPNs. Guess what? Young people replace old people over time. Too late Russia.

I think that Putin is getting more worried about Russians knowing the truth about the real reason for invading Ukraine I mean he is losing support with his own inner circle members who are losing millions of dollars because of this war not that I feel sorry for them or anything

If you ever needed a metric for a failed system or country, one of the top indicators has to be the need to lock down information sharing so that your people can't realize how shit the system they live in actually is. No shock that China and Russia are so weak and corrupt that they have to take such drastic action to keep their populations in line.

When weak people allow strong tyrants to control their society, they become an accessory to the tyrant.
If you truly hate your leader and don't approve of their behaviour then use action not words.

  15. @BladeTheWatcher

    February 27, 2024 at 1:30 am

Why? Really? To control what the Russian people think, of course.
It works in China, why wouldn't it work in Russia?
Well, I could list a few reasons – but don't interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. 🙂

In this video, we’re going to take a look at the ruling in France and explain why, while it might be good news for Le Pen personally, it is actually probably bad news for the National Rally and thus the French right.
