Lagarde is "concerned" about North-South divides, after she clobbered the Greek working class during the financial crisis a decade ago!? Germany will certainly take over properly due the COVID screwup. Next German Leader wants largest countries who pay the most to have the most influence and not be responsible for the smaller countries. EU must deal with Russia who are now Energy superpower; as they've already done a deal with China. Most of their Goals are diametrically opposed.

If we get rid of the Fed and the European central bank, we, the people, take back part of power that's been taking from us. We take a powerful tool, used to manipulate us, away from the people hiding in shadows. The ECB created money for only one reason, to buy Italian debt, when it wasn't yet decided by Brussels how to deal with countries with large debt. Creating new money, means inflation. Our savings loose value. Without being asked, we pay for part of the Italian debt. We save money for a rainy day, Italian government spends money like there's no tomorrow and we pay for the Italian party. We, the people, don't tell the central bank what to do, they do what they like, they listen to another master and we accept it
