Cry Like a Boy: Euronews series on how male stereotypes can impact families
A Euronews original documentary and podcast series is shining a light on challenging universal male stereotypes – and the impact that can have on the lives of women.
Cry Like a Boy is a year-long project across five African countries about how the pressure ‘to be a man’ can hurt families and societies. Our team first visited Burundi – where theatre and community meetings are used to tackle domestic violence. Euronews journalists Marta Rodriguez and Naira Davlashyan told us how attitudes to family and marriage are changing there.

“Sexism is all about putting people in boxes as soon as we meet them, labelled either ‘man’ or ‘woman’. As soon as they deviate from that, even a little, they are quickly reminded to get back into line and play their role.

London’s British Library is staging ==the UK’s biggest comic book exhibition==.

Accordingly, I am the Imam Mahdi assuring you the coming of deluge sign the violent torrent of Eram Valley and against the whole of Yemen in general. Do not approach what the floods will reveal. Surely it is the possession of Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni khalifa of Allah over Yemen and the whole world for each of you a share of it and a share for the economically collapsed regions in countries of the worlds because Yemen is the capital of the Global Islamic Khilafa. And what Allah did not hide in vain the kingdom of the Yemeni former ancient nations. In fact it is for Allah’s khalifa over the worlds in a decree made absolute in the written Book to build Yemen the Capital of the global Islamic Khilafa, so after subjecting necks of (followers) of the parties in Yemen to humble for Allah’s khalifa; the Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad; then surely for each incidence there is a speech.
O Ali Abdallah Saleh, surely the floods will get you out from your hidden pit wherever you are! Surely I know that I did not make a lie against Allah that you are a sign of ratification for the worlds in spite of your nose! And you will indeed come to know that we are truthful in everything with Allah’s permission! And I do not limit the appointed time of chastisement, we only confirm its coming, and judgement is for Allah the Best of conquers, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds..
