At Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Calida, Gran Canarian designer Sandra Jaurrieta captivated the runway with her standout collection, “”Azulejos””, earning the prestigious Best Emerging Collection Award.

Inspired by the striking mineral formations of “Los Azulejos de Veneguera” in southwest Gran Canaria, the collection translates a landscape sculpted by time, water, and rich earth into high-fashion swimwear.

Grounded in organic, sun-weathered earth tones and mineral shades, Jaurrieta merges sculptural cuts with sustainable local craftsmanship, incorporating Canary Island tendrils and native banana fibers into intricately handcrafted accessories and structured swimwear pieces.

The showcase seamlessly bridges volcanic island heritage, eco-conscious design, and contemporary resort glamour.
