Bridging Shanghai and London, past and future, Hu Bing Selects returned to London Fashion Week with “Urban Grace: Leather & Light”, a striking exploration of time and material transformation.
Moving through three distinct imagined temporal chapters — 1930, 2030, and 3030 — the collection redefines leather from ceremonial matte white paired with delicate silk into architectural, gladiatorial armor in cognac and wine red, ultimately evolving into a metallic, weightless second skin.
Beyond its visionary silhouettes worn by top models Qi Qi, Dongna Xie, and Yun Xiang Hao, the showcase marks the debut of Hu Bing’s “”Finishing in China”” initiative.
Developed in collaboration with Haining’s renowned leather supply chain, the collection elevated technical expertise and Chinese craft into a powerful creative act that connects Eastern heritage with Western global runways.

For summer 2027, Anthony Vaccarello envelops Saint Laurent in a hypnotic, head-to-toe study of a single magical hue: gold. Drawing on Yves Saint Laurent’s legendary love for the shade, Vaccarello explores its transformative power across a vast spectrum, from Byzantine and Renaissance gold to matte, burnished, and Brutalist tones.
House archetypes like sahariennes, trenches, and short suits with sharp shoulders are gilded in luminous brocades, gold-leaf latex, lame, and guipure lace, balancing haute couture craftsmanship with modern, wearable edge.
Complemented by monumental filigree jewelry and sculptural snake heels, the golden spell eventually yields to a poetic close of nimbus-cloud black evening gowns – a haunting final reminder that what passes often leaves the brightest light behind.
