Rooftop commuters, clashing plaids, and cat-shaped clutches – experience Moschino S/S 2027 on FashionTV!
Staged high above a Milanese parking garage, Moschino’s spring/summer 2027 showcase ushered in a bold new chapter for the house under recently appointed co-creative directors Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo. Opening not with traditional models, but with a parade of everyday commuters, dogs, and strollers, the show instantly signaled a pivot from past theatrical slapstick toward a subtle, real-world language of modern irony.
Designed in just three months, the collection masterfully balances architectural fluidity with pragmatic, daily utility. Layered stacked tanks, clashing green-and-pink plaid shirts, and yellow-and-black checked outerwear meet lean trousers and crisp graphic tees.
Franco Moschino’s legendary love for satire returned in elevated, understated ways: leather breeches adorned with delicate toreador tassels, fringed raffia accents, and a stand-out black cat-shaped clutch casually carried like an arm ornament. For S/S 27, Moschino proves that in a world of high-fashion noise, quiet, functional wit is the ultimate statement.
