Rooftop commuters, clashing plaids, and cat-shaped clutches – experience Moschino S/S 2027 on FashionTV!

Staged high above a Milanese parking garage, Moschino’s spring/summer 2027 showcase ushered in a bold new chapter for the house under recently appointed co-creative directors Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo. Opening not with traditional models, but with a parade of everyday commuters, dogs, and strollers, the show instantly signaled a pivot from past theatrical slapstick toward a subtle, real-world language of modern irony.

Designed in just three months, the collection masterfully balances architectural fluidity with pragmatic, daily utility. Layered stacked tanks, clashing green-and-pink plaid shirts, and yellow-and-black checked outerwear meet lean trousers and crisp graphic tees.

Franco Moschino’s legendary love for satire returned in elevated, understated ways: leather breeches adorned with delicate toreador tassels, fringed raffia accents, and a stand-out black cat-shaped clutch casually carried like an arm ornament. For S/S 27, Moschino proves that in a world of high-fashion noise, quiet, functional wit is the ultimate statement.

Anciela: Threads of Rebirth for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

on

Tune in to FashionTV for an exclusive look at Anciela’s S/S 27 London Fashion Week showcase, celebrating eco-innovation and heritage storytelling!

Presented at Regent Quarter during London Fashion Week, Anciela’s spring/summer 2027 collection explores the intricate bond between mother and daughter as a poignant metaphor for humanity’s relationship with Mother Earth. Designed by Colombian-Chilean interdisciplinary creative Jennifer Droguett Espinosa, the London-based sustainable luxury label merges experimental tailoring, next-generation material science, and multidisciplinary performance to reflect on past, present, and future ecological resilience.

The S/S 27 wardrobe centers on adaptive, transformative design, featuring adjustable panels, detachable sleeves, and interconnected layers that knot and contour gracefully around the body. Highlighting circularity and deep innovation, the collection pairs rescued wools, vintage silks, and deadstock cottons with revolutionary eco-materials: seaweed-derived AlgaFila yarns, plant-based grape leather Savigne, and Octarine’s bio-based black pigments for abstract jungle fern motifs.

Accompanied by the interactive Upcycled Sound Cocoon installation and a three-act live performance on ancestry and regeneration, Anciela delivers a powerful vision where heritage craftsmanship and sustainable innovation meet.

Nicola Peltz and Genny Redefine Contemporary Femininity for F/W 26-27

Step inside Genny’s continuing story of sophistication and strength – tune in to FashionTV!

Choosing to stand as the face of a fashion house for three consecutive seasons signifies a rare and genuine artistic affinity. For the fall/winter 2026-2027 campaign, Italian maison Genny renewed its creative partnership with Nicola Peltz Beckham, deepening a dialogue built on trust, elegance, and a shared vision of modern womanhood.

The collaboration stems from an authentic connection to the brand’s core values. As an international, free, and self-aware presence, Peltz naturally interprets the sophisticated language that defines Genny.

For Creative Director Sara Cavazza Facchini, Peltz embodies a timeless femininity that transcends geographic boundaries and fleeting trends – balancing strength with delicacy, and authenticity with high glamour. Rather than treating each season as a standalone advertisement, the Maison views this partnership as an evolving narrative.

As Cavazza highlights, the collaboration builds a lasting story through Peltz’s natural sensitivity and global dimension.
The F/W 26-27 campaign opens a compelling new chapter, reinforcing Genny’s dedication to long-term creative relationships that strengthen a distinct and recognizable identity.

Erdem: Gender, Illusion, & the Legacy of Barbette for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

on

1920s Paris, avant-garde illusion, and fluid elegance – explore Erdem S/S 27 on FashionTV!

For spring/summer 2027, Erdem Moralioglu draws inspiration from the legendary 1920s American aerialist Barbette – born Vander Clyde Broadway – whose high-wire trapeze acts in Paris captivated Jean Cocteau and the French avant-garde.

Barbette’s art lay in the fluid illusion between genders: conjuring ethereal femininity while aloft, only to reveal conscious masculinity at the curtain call, embodying what Cocteau famously described as the “supernatural sex of beauty.” A century later, Erdem translates this suspended world into a striking exploration of transformation.

The collection intentionally pushes and pulls the traditional architecture of masculine tailoring and feminine couture. Structured sartorial lines dissolve into delicate drapery, while tense, luminous silhouettes honor the fluid space between identities.

Proving that beauty needs no resolution, Erdem delivers a deeply poetic S/S 2027 showcase where gender becomes a performance and fashion exists on a high wire of endless possibility.
